Adam Balick

Adam Balick is a fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers and has been recognized by Chambers USA in the field of healthcare law.   He represents a wide range of clients in the health care industry, including nonprofit and for-profit health systems, community hospitals, group medical practices, and long-term care facilities.   Adam represents clients in civil, administrative, and criminal proceedings, including enforcement actions arising from federal and state health laws and regulations.

A significant part of his law practice also involves first chair representation of business clients in corporate and complex commercial disputes.

After serving for six years as a prosecutor in the Delaware Attorney General’s Office, Adam entered private practice, where he started to focus on representation of healthcare providers.   Over the past 30 years at Balick & Balick, he has regularly represented clients in the Delaware Superior Court, Court of Chancery, Supreme Court, and in the District Court of Delaware.  He also handles litigation before federal Administrative Law Judges, arbitrators and professional licensing boards.

Pro bono representation and access to justice are priorities for Balick & Balick.  The firm provides legal services for free to individuals who cannot afford access to the courts.

Adam’s community and government service includes:
