Liquor Licensing

Balick and Balick's Liquor Licensing practice focuses on the representation of licensees in each of the three tiers of the alcoholic beverage industry. Adam Balick, a former Chairman of the Alcoholic Beverage Control Commission, now appears before the Commissioner in connection with all types of liquor license applications. The firm also advises clients on regulatory compliance, including implementation of policies and compliance audits. The firm maintains regular contact with administrators and regulators to keep abreast of trends in enforcement and rule modification.

• Represent publicly and privately owned national restaurant chains in connection with transfers of ownership of their Delaware restaurant liquor licenses.
• Ongoing representation of dozens of wine suppliers from Europe and the United States in connection with obtaining and maintaining supplier licenses.
• Represent restaurants, package stores, tap rooms, caterers, and other retail establishments in obtaining Delaware liquor licenses and defending violations brought by the Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control.
